What is group training?
Group training is an amount of time that you can purchase for your training and assessment needs. The time period purchased is shared with other members of the general public.
Your training period is determined by the vehicle type. Training is conducted over the time period with assessments conducted at the end of the course.
How is the training period structured?
We ask all participants to:
| Arrival: | Arrive at our office by 7:30am (this time is used for the completion of paperwork and settling into the day). |
| Training: | Training will start at approximately 8:00am (depending on the how long the paperwork takes) and finish at 4:00pm (dependant on the number of participants). |
| Assessment: | Assessments will be conducted on the afternoon of the last day of training (depending on what assessments you are ready for or scheduled to undertaking). Each individual participant will have the assessment and a free reassessment during the assessment period. |
How will the learning time be structured?
The learning time will split between the total number of attendants. The course is structure to follow a rigid training format to provide each participant with an outcome. This course type is best for people that learn best by doing a particular task than watching others in an effort to prefect their skill.
Our training is designed to help you produce your best effort.
What type of assessments are conducted during the assessment period?
The assessment may consist of:
| Full Licensing: | An assessment that meets all licensing requirements. |
| Partial Licensing: | An assessment that partially meets the licensing requirements. A practical component or a theory component. |
| RTO Assessment: | An assessment that evaluates your skills against the national training standards. |
What happens if I can't meet my objective during my training?
Simple. We can reschedule more training time until you can meet your training objective.
What happens if I am late to my training session?
Unfortunately this time can not be made up and will impact on your training time. We suggest you plan yourself to arrive early so your plans are not impacted.
How many courses will I need to meet my objective?
This is a difficult question, just like 'how long is a piece of string?'.
We have a recommended number of days depending on the licence class you are attempting, but this is only a recommendation. If your abilities allow you to meet the training / licensing requirements in a fewer number of days than our recommendation, then we will find this acceptable. Remember, the recommendation is just a recommendation. Some people may require more while some may require less.
Our goal is to provide the training you require to meet your desired outcome.
