Transport Industry Driver Education (TIDE) today have unveiled their new addition to their list of operating locations. The new site, Shepparton / Mooroopna is a site that is purpose built for transport & Logistics / Construction based training.
Another new site has been added, strengthing TIDE's position for the future. As stated by Tom Russell (Owner), "Today we release our new Shepparton / Mooroopna, proving that we are committed to a long term view of preparing new entrants for the transport and construction sectors within the Greater Shepparton and surrounding regions. This new addition allows TIDE to help meet some of the challenges for the industry and our customer based in this local area. As mentioned before, our aim is to support industry and show industry we are serious about training the members of the transport and construction industries to meet their challenges, now we get to focus our efforts in this great section of Victoria".
Along with the new site, Transport Industry Driver Education has made arrangement for 2 brand new Hino FG 500 Heavy Rigid's which have been supplied by Prestige Hino Dandenong. These new vehicles will allow each trainee that enroll's in our courses to better understand the heavy vehicle driving requirements.
More equipment for training puroses have been planned for this location. The list of programs / courses we aim to focus on are:
- Certificate Based courses for Transport and Logistics sector (including warehousing and driving operations)
- Certificate based courses for the Construction sector
- VicRoads Approved Heavy Vehicles licensing
- Forklift licensing
- Machinery licensing (such as skid steer, backhoe, front end loader, etc)
